Turning Machines

“Turning” defines the work that is traditionally done on a lathe. As lathes have grown in sophistication, some of these machines have been given different names. “Turning centers” is a term sometimes applied to machines with particularly sophisticated capabilities related to secondary spindles and/or rotating tools for milling and drilling. Another term, “turn/mill machines,” describes machines that can be thought of as being just as capable at milling and drilling parts as they are at turning. In turning, unlike in milling or drilling, the workpiece spins while the cutting tool does not.

New Laser Machine To Double Production

Jenks and Cattell Engineering ltd have this week finalised an order on new machinery for our factory which is set to more than double our laser capacity.
We are currently awaiting the arrival of a Trumpf TruLaser 3030 which will accompany our current Trumpf laser machine to massively increase our production efficiency.
Our current laser machine cuts steel up to 16mm, and our new laser will enable a thicker cut at an advanced efficiency rate. The laser will have the ability to cut 20mm of mild steel, 15mm of stainless steel and 10mm of aluminium.

Industrial Production of Enzyme-modified Wool Fibers for Machine-washable Bed Coverings.

Enzyme technology is explored on wool fibers to prevent shrinkage and consolidation behavior during washing of woolen bed coverings using normal household machine conditions. Enzyme modification of wool fibers after two different pretreatments has been realized on industrial scale. Enlarged proteolytic enzyme by chemical modification was applied successfully to prevent substantial fiber strength loss.

Application of Mineral Casting for Machine Tools Beds

The article provides state of the art and the latest development trends in the manufacturing of machine tool beds. The emphasis is placed on modern materials whose mechanical and dynamical properties may prove to be a breakthrough in the field of machine tool design.

MERT MAKINA / Automatic Mattress Production Line - Ukraine

One of the most crucial parts of mattress production is preparing mattress carcasses. While the mattress side foam and top felting were being prepared with solvent-based glue, it is passed to the hotmelt system to provide worker health, and good smell& hygiene on the mattress in the latest years.

MERT MAKINA | Presentation

The global mattress industry has undergone a period of development with the shift from cotton and woolen mattresses to spring mattress. Today, many people spend 1/3 of their days at sleep. Accordingly this enhances the importance of mattress quality and comfort. MERT MACHINERY, established in 1993 with the awareness of this necessity, has started the production of mattress machines. Mert Machinery then, ensured the trust of many producers with the mechanical quilting machine it had produced those years.

M-110 Spring Carcass Grinding Machine

Generally in the mass production of spring carcass, starting points of the spiral automatically is knotted but end points isn't knotted that causes the spiral spring go out of by penetrated the border of mattress.
